The first meeting of the 4th General Assembly of Tianjin Metals Association was held

On May 11, 2023, the first meeting of the fourth general meeting of Tianjin Metal Materials Industry Association was held grandly. Lou Jie, Chairman of Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of Tianjin General Chamber of Commerce, and Zhang Xiaohui, full-time Vice Chairman of Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce and member of the party group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Chai Zhongqiang, President of Tianjin Metal Association, Bai Junming, Deputy General Manager of New Tiangang Dezai Technology Group and General Manager of New Tiangang Cold Rolled Sheet, Vice Presidents of the Association, leaders of steel mills such as Ansteel, Jingye, Bensteel, Hesteel, TISCO and Shougang; leaders of friendly associations such as Tianjin Iron and Steel Industry Association and Enterprise Innovation Talent Promotion Association attended the meeting.
The General Assembly summarised the work of the third Council of the Association and elected the fourth Council and the new leadership. All the member enterprises of Tianjin Metals Association and friends from all walks of life attended the meeting and witnessed the new beginning of the Association together.
The meeting began with a work report by Ma Shuchen, Executive Vice President of the 3rd Council. Ma Shuchen pointed out that the third council of the association, under the correct leadership of the municipal SASAC, the association bureau, the Federation of Industry and Commerce and other competent departments, in the joint efforts of the council and all members, grasp the correct direction, adhere to the "service for members, service for society" purpose of running the association, solid work, do a good job of government helper and assistant. We strengthen the party building work, improve political leadership; do a good job of bridge and link, reflect the industry's demands; regulate the behavior of enterprises, lead healthy development; organize industry training, improve the level of enterprises; provide multi-level exchanges, promote cooperation and interoperability; do a good job of member publicity, actively broaden the channel; enthusiastic public welfare, organize rich activities. In the third session of the Council, the Association has been "pragmatic, pragmatic, and pragmatic" in its services, continuously enhancing its cohesiveness, influence and appeal, and helping enterprises in the industry to develop in a high-quality and healthy manner. After thorough examination, nomination and deliberation, the General Assembly elected the fourth council and its leadership through political examination by the higher party committee.
The General Assembly recalled that since the establishment of the Chamber and the Association in 2007, President Chai Zhongqiang has made great contributions to the healthy development of member enterprises and the industry through correct leadership, cohesion and pragmatic services, and read out the decision of the General Assembly that Comrade Chai Zhongqiang is the "Founding President" of the Tianjin Metals Chamber of Commerce and the Association. Lou Jie, Chairman of the Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of the Tianjin Chamber of Commerce, presented a plaque to Mr. Chai Zhongqiang.
Mr. Chai Zhongqiang pointed out in his speech that since the establishment of Tianjin Metals Chamber of Commerce and Association, it has been more than ten years of wind and rain, and we are fortunate to be able to work together with everyone and go through it together; we are also very grateful for the support, care and help from everyone to the Chamber and Association in these ten years. Nowadays, more and more outstanding enterprises are joining the Association and working together for the healthy development of the industry. In the future, under the new leadership, the Association will definitely be more cohesive and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of Tianjin and even the national metal materials industry. President Chai Zhongqiang said that he will continue to pay attention to and support the development of the Association and all its members, and continue to help and contribute to the construction of the industry.
Bai Junming, the new president of Tianjin Metal Association, deputy general manager of New Tiangang Dezai Technology Group and general manager of New Tiangang Cold Rolled Sheet, delivered a speech on behalf of President Zhang Yinshan, thanking everyone for their support and trust in the new leadership collective. Zhang Xiaohui, Vice Chairman of Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce and member of the Party Group, delivered a speech. Chairman Zhang Xiaohui pointed out that the report of the 20th Party Congress reaffirmed the "two unshakable" and proposed "promoting the development and growth of the private economy" and "protecting the property rights of private enterprises and the rights and interests of entrepreneurs in accordance with the law".
